Exclusive: Pier Owner Disagrees with MP and Council over Asset of Community Value

I will remain the owner of Eastbourne Pier – and I invite our MP Josh to meet as soon as possible – Sheikh Abid Gulzar 

The main story this week has been Eastbourne Pier becoming an Asset of Community Value.

Josh Babarinde MP, Council Leader Stephen Holt and The Friends of Eastbourne Seafront say this protects the Pier for future years.

Current owner Sheikh Abid Gulzar disagrees.

We asked to interview all four – Mr Gulzar was the only one prepared to go on camera.
