Eastbourne’s Dobell Shortlisted Alongside National Brands at Prestigious Drapers Awards 🏆
THIS week we have visited a real Eastbourne business success story that many of you may not have heard of.
We certainly hadn’t – but what an amazing business. It’s Dobell, based on the Industrial Estate at 23 Marshall Road.
And this is why we went to meet the team.
Dobell has been shortlisted for one of the fashion retail industry’s leading awards, recognising the strength of its online retail proposition and continued development of the business.
The Drapers Awards celebrate achievement across the UK fashion industry, with the Pureplay of the Year category recognising online fashion retailers for their performance, customer experience and digital proposition.
For Dobell, the national recognition follows continued investment in its online customer experience, product offering and digital marketing, while maintaining its headquarters in Eastbourne.
The business specialises in suits, tuxedos, formalwear and occasion wear, serving customers across the UK and globally through its online store.

The shortlisting places the Eastbourne business alongside leading names from across the UK fashion retail sector including Belle Lingerie, Beyond Nine, Bown of London and Goddiva.

The winners will be announced at the Drapers Awards ceremony at Old Billingsgate in London on Wednesday 11 November 2026.
