A Taste of the Philippines in Eastbourne: Inside the Enterprise Centre’s Newest Gem

Experience the authentic taste of the Philippines right in the heart of Eastbourne. Filipino Cuisine is now open at the Enterprise Shopping Centre, bringing the amazing homemade flavours of the Philippines right into the heart of the town. Starting as a beloved stall in Eastbourne Market in 2023, Filipino Cuisine was born from a simple mission, to bring warmth, comfort, and joy through every single plate.

Here at Eastbourne Life, we got the chance to visit the restaurant, located inside The Enterprise Centre.

Brenda, owner of Filipino Cuisine, said: “What makes it so special here is that all the food is made with love. I’m doing this because I’d like the Filipino community in Eastbourne to come when they miss home cooking, at least they still have it in Eastbourne.

With a menu of over 30 freshly prepared dishes, there’s always something new to discover and share with family and friends. Crafted using traditional ingredients and time-honored recipes, every meal offers a true, unforgettable taste of the Philippines.

You can expect savoury favourites like crisp, golden Lumpia, rich and comforting Adobo, flavour‑packed Pancit and steaming Beef Lomi. You’ll also find regional classics such as Laing Sa Gata, Chicken Isaw, and the much‑loved breakfast plates Hotsilog and Tapsilog!

For something sweet, enjoy a colourful Halo‑Halo, creamy Mais Con Yelo, silky Leche Flan, refreshing Buko Pandan, or a slice of their soft Ube Swiss Roll or Mango Swiss Roll.

Take a look at what a few happy customers had to say:

Cristine Silva said: “We absolutely love coming here! The experience is made truly special by the owner, Brenda, who is such a lovely and kind lady. The food is consistently delicious, and the flavors are unique, you can tell they really put care into every dish.

A massive bonus is being able to buy the fresh spring rolls to take home, freeze, and enjoy whenever we want them! Seriously, this place offers a great price and has awesome meal deals. We’re always coming back!”

Darren Sian said: “I visited the new restaurant in the Enterprise Centre with my family this weekend. We had chicken curry, BBQ pork and spring rolls. The food was delicious and the welcome was so warm and friendly. We will definitely visit again either to eat in or pick up a meal to take home.”

Amanda Avery said: “Fabulous! We got a warm welcome on arrival and found a table. The owner is really friendly and the food was so warming and tasty. We both had the arroz caldo which is like a rice & chicken broth porridge – it had so much flavour and was really filling. Definitely need to go back on a Saturday when they do a buffet!”

Whether you are looking to reconnect with the familiar comforts of home or dive headfirst into your very first authentic Filipino dining experience, Brenda and her team are ready to welcome you with open arms and unforgettable food.
