Two Years in South Street: Little Chelsea Health Store Marks a Major Milestone

Little Chelsea Health Store at 35 South Street, Eastbourne, has turned two in August, and what a lovely business it is.

Owner Mel says it has been a great two years, and a celebration day to mark the second birthday was amazing.

She said: “It was a fantastic celebration, we had people queuing out of the door at one stage.

“We are so grateful to our very loyal customers. It means so much to us.”

And what about year three?

Mel said: “We have plenty of ideas! We’d love to work with even more local suppliers, introduce weekly organic fruit and veg boxes and expand into areas such as natural make-up and clothing. We’re also exploring taking Little Chelsea online and offering local delivery.

“But however much things change; we don’t want to lose what makes a small independent shop special. We genuinely try to go above and beyond to help – whether that’s talking something through, researching a product, tracking down something difficult to find or simply being there for a chat.”
